Parent Center

At ISL, we are fortunate to have a strong tradition of active parent and community involvement.  By volunteering your time, you are able to help provide a stimulating, enriching and rewarding environment for your child, their classmates and teachers.

Each ISL campus engages a Family Liaison to assist parents in connecting with our school and finding resources to support their child.  We believe that every child’s education is the joint responsibility of the school, the student and their family.  By volunteering in the school, parents create a valued resource for students by sharing expertise and demonstrating support of the educational process.  This support may be assisting in the library or computer lab, serving as a special speaker, accompanying field trips or any number of other activities.

Additionally, ISL provides opportunities for parents to learn as well.  Throughout the year, PTO meetings keep you informed of our school’s progress and activities; special presentations on child development, immersion learning, State standardized assessments and our school’s Annual Yearly Progress are regularly scheduled.
