Thank you to all who supported the 2012 Fall Refrigerator Art Auction & Gala on Saturday, November 10, 2012.  Over 300 guests attended and bid on fantastic silent auction items, including this year’s featured item, the International Baskets! The addition of mystery “Brag Bags” proved to be a big hit with guests! All mystery “Brag Bags” were purchased within the first hour of the event! We look forward to offering a large assortment of mystery “Brag Bags” in 2013!

For the first time, students form the Circus Arts and the Kuk Sool Won programs treated Patron Party guests with performances. We would like to offer a round of applause to all student performers, their parents, and teachers Ms. Meret, Quan Le & Ryan Tardiff, for showcasing two of our exceptional Enrichment Programs. We are grateful to have had Ms. Kelder Summer from New Orleans’ own 106.7 Morning Show as our event MC.

Guest danced the night away to the sounds of DJ Suzy Q, a special performance by Casa Samba, and
enjoyed delicious food provided by Aurora Catering, Bagert’s Creations, Cook Me Something Mister Jambalaya, Elizabeth’s Restaurant, LaDivina Gelateria, and Lucy’s Retired Surfers Restaurant & Bar. Thank you to all of our food sponsors and to Canal Street Family Dentistry, our beverage sponsor.

This year, parental response to the Sponsor a Teacher Campaign allowed over 60 teachers and their guests to attend the Gala. We would like to recognize Mr. Andrew Yon, Board President, Mr. Matt Amoss, Board Member, and Mr. Sean Wilson, Head of School for generously assuring that all teachers were sponsored.
