School tours :
We are excited to welcome our new families for the 2018-19 School Year! It’s an amazing and wonderful adventure that we are about to begin together! Your child’s education is very important to us, and we thank you for trusting us with it! If you have been accepted to ISL Westbank campus and have not had a chance to visit our school to see the amazing things happening in our building, then we would like to invite you for a tour on one of the following two dates:
Tuesday, May 8 from 8:10-9:00am
If you are unable to make it, then we certainly understand. We will see you in August for the start of a brand new school year!

- May 14-18 (STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK)
- May 16 Come dressed as your favorite staff member for $1.00
- May 16- DELE assessment begins (5th grade only)
- May 19- Bazaar (Howlin’ Wolf) 7pm-10pm
- May 23- Middle School experience 5-6pm at our Uptown campus
- May 28- Memorial Day
- May 29- International breakfast and All Around The World enrichment assembly
- June 1- Last day of school

At ISL, we encourage Family Involvement. We hope to see you at the campus and encourage you to contact your Family Liaison for volunteer opportunities around campus.
Family Involvement Plan- The International School of Louisiana receives Title I, Part A funds and is required to develop with and distribute to parents a parental involvement policy & plan that contains information required by section 1118(a)(2) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). The policy establishes the International School of Louisiana’s expectations for parental involvement and describes how the LEA will implement a number of specific parental involvement activities, and is incorporated into the school improvement plans (SIP) and handbooks of each school that are submitted to the State Educational Agency (SEA) annually. The International School of Louisiana’s goal is to support effective parental involvement and to strengthen student academic achievement.
